While the devastating fight between the Masood family and Yusef Khan has ended, the situation is far from over for Tamwar who suffered extreme burns in the fire and was lucky to survive. Not only is there potentially months of plastic surgery to try and correct the scars of the fire but the mental pressure and emotional strain is already beginning to show in his marriage to Afia. Despite the fact that this family is pulling together to try and pull Tamwar out of this depression it is having no real success at this moment in time.

It always seems to be the innocent parties in Eastenders who end up with the most physical and emotional damage when families collide and this is certainly the case with regards to the Masood family and Yusef Khan battle. There are many Eastenders fans who believe that the storyline was very far-fetched in the first place although it has to be said it did make for good viewing and did attract a significant amount of interest from non-Eastenders fans. So what next for Tamwar?

It is unclear exactly what path Tamwar’s life will take over the coming weeks and months but there is no doubt that he has been deeply affected by the battle of the two families. He is on the verge of walking out on his young wife, he is at loggerheads with his mother and his father is perhaps the only one who truly understands him at this moment in time. There are concerns that he will move into a deep and troubling depression over the coming weeks which will be difficult to escape from.

Whatever happens over the coming weeks and months there is no doubt that Tamwar will play a leading role in his very own deep and troubling storyline. Quite how it will end remains to be seen but hopefully for once we will see a happy conclusion?
