As Archie finally gets his comeuppance in Eastenders the question on everybody’s lips is who killed Archie Mitchell?
The list of potential suitors is enormous including Phil Mitchell, Peggy Mitchell, Ronnie Mitchell, Roxy Mitchell, Janine Mitchell, Ryan, Ian Beale and many others. While Archie obviously expected Peggy to come back to him after he had the Queen Vic pub in his hands this did not happen and he had to resort back to plan B. While the favourites for the murder of Archie are dominated by the Mitchell family, there is speculation about a sudden twist in the saga which could see a surprise murderer appear in due course – but who?.
Is it a coincidence that Peggy Mitchell is set to leave Eastenders, at least for a short time, and Archie lies bleeding to death on the floor of the Queen Vic?
The “who killed Archie” saga is set to go on for some time and there would be many twists and turns in this exciting storyline from Eastenders.

Well I can already list who it wouldn’t be or is least likely to have killed Archie in my opinion:
Ronnie- although she is found cradling her farther, police release her after they test for DNA evidence against her turns up negetive.
Roxy- is with Amy at Jack’s flat.
Janine- even though she is another fave for the ‘who done it…’ Janine is clutching a knife in the taxi office and so it would be unlikely for her to change her weapon of choice.
Ryan- is singing with the rest of the Jackson family.
Ian- is with his family, singing by the xmas tree.
Bradly- I personally do not see him as the type of person who could kill another human being even after the revelation about Stacie and Archie.
Phil- he has chosen a crowbar as his weapon and so would be unlikely to change to just dropping the victoria bust on top of Archie’s head and if Phil were to kill him I think he would probably make sure it was a very violent end to Archie’s life giving the state of mind Phil is in.
Jack- I believe he could possibly be the murderer after his threat towards Archie but I believe he would also make sure it was a very violent end to Archie’s life.
Peggy- after looking up at the pub the way she did I think Peggy might also have a high chance at being the murderer because of the way Archie was killed seemed to have more of a feminine touch and I believe that Peggy would do anything for her family.
I think Janine has killed him she has killed once what would stop her doing it again, and she would do anythink to get revange and get what she wants, the mitchells get the pub back, because peggy never sent the divores papers so they r still married so with Archie dead she get all of his estate and his daughters do though his will.

i think it was an accident. If you remember Janine picked a red envelope from under the bust, she left it hanging precariously over the edge waiting to fall and it fell at the right time on top of Archie as he knelt under it.
What about Grant ??? His family has been detroyed by Archie, could he come into the show for a murderous flying visit ?????

i definitely think that it isn’t Janine, Phil or Jack because it would’ve been more confrontational; they are the type of people that if they were to kill someone they would let their victim know that it was them. Plus these guys are too obvious.
it’s most likely to be someone who has been portrayed as weak. i don’t it was Peggy or Sam because i don’t think they have the guts to do it.

I watched the omnibus today, and thought the build-up towards the end was cleverly written and the ‘who-done-it’suggestion story lines, until the scenes involving the police were shown! The way the police behaved was so ‘unreal’! Why do the story writers always let themselves down? They always get it right with a ‘build-up’ story, then never make a strong ending! It’s so annoying.

I think it was Tracey the Bar Maid as Eastenders Script Writers want us to think outside the Box. Tracey did Quit her Job that very Day. Also, Tracey would want to punish Archie for taking over the Vic and Evicting Peggie and others.
Well it could of been Bradley since he was mad at him for what he did to Stacy, He did punch him but then he dissapered! Sam did not looked shocked when she found out neither did Jack. And I dont think Ronnie or Roxy would have the guts to kill there own father, And the others picked up different weapons why a sudden change?

Sharon and Ronnie look similar to eachother don’t they?
What if years ago, Den didn’t legally adopt Sharon, but was secretly given away to him by Archie, without Angie and Glenda knowing. Den being Den, does the naughty thing, but does it to put a smile on Angies face. Glenda thought Sharon had died, like Ronnie thought Danielle died. Den tells Angie that Sharons parents had died in an accident and Sharon was now theirs. Sharon somehow finds out about the secret from Archie when he temporarily left the show b4 his return and they have an argument and sharon turns against him and he destroys her and his grandson. In a rage Sharon returns to Walford secretly and kills him. She tells Archie, she was Glad Den was her daddy. How would Ronnie and Roxy react to their sercet sister murdering their dad? How about Glenda? What about cousins Grant and phil? Grant was married to her. Phil slept with her. oops!

WE THINK IT IS EITHER TRACEY OR STACEY…. we think it is tracey because we never actually saw her leave the pub and she detested archie. stacey because she lied to bradley and told him that she had archies baby when it was actually ryans and she didnt want bradley to talk to archie about or archie totell him that it wasnt actually his baby.we think that it can’t of been done by ian because we saw him with the laptop before archies death and he had to much to concentrate on due to searching on the laptop for the recording. ronnie would be to obvious and we dont think it would be peggy because she didnt want him to die any way. it is possible that it could be sam due tothe finding the nail however she had been talking to archie earlier so she could have dropped it then. phil said that he went in to check he was dead but is too obvious. jack had a gun tokillhim but when he got there archie was already dead. probably wouldnt be ben because he never really minded archie and was to busy worrying about his dad. bradley was watching outside and had allready gone to see archie therefore i dont think he would kill him. janine has already killed 2 people before and is to obvious. roxy liked her dad and was always trying to helphim avoid trouble.it wouldn’t be accidental because it is said to be revaled in february and it would be pointless wasting so many episodes searching for who killed him.

Wait a second, what if the person never intended to kill Archie with the bust? Think about it, the killer would have brought his/her own weapon to the Vic but thought that killing him with the bust would fade them away from suspicion because it was the Vic’s possession. So someone who was seen with a weapon or is known to kill with a weapon has to be the murderer. The person had to wear gloves, and the broken nail? Someone in the Mitchell residence must’ve retrieved it from Sam, probably while she was sleeping. Ian was wearing gloves but his only intention was to retrieve the laptop. My guess is that either the victim had a key or crowbar to get in the back. Maybe Grant had his own key.
