The new storyline on Eastenders is the fact that Heather is pregnant but nobody knows who the father is at this moment in time. We have seen Heather contemplating whether to tell the father, keep it to herself or confide in a friend of the new doctor. While there are a number of clues as to who the father may be, with the favourites being Minty, Gary or even Phil, nobody really knows the secret daddy.
Who do you think is the father of Heathers baby?
Heather is one of those characters who never has any happiness and seems to go from one disaster to another with a smile on her face. Surely now is the time to give her some joy in life, give her some happiness and let her meet the man of her dreams?
Elsewhere, Phil is going from bad to worse as his drinking spirals out of control and he is losing any friends that he ever had. This is probably the worst we have ever seen Phil as he is drinking every day and causing serious upset to his family and close friends.

I think it would be nice if Minty was the dad because out of all the potential dads I think he would be the best one. Thing is how does Heather know who the dad is if she’s been sleeping with all these people and there are that many potential fathers? I hope Heather keeps the baby though as she hasn’t really got much else. I mean Shirley, she acts like she’s there for Heather but her whole motive is to get Phil which she has now through his drinking problems. Heather did have Minty but even he left her, even though she loves him still so for her to have this baby would be for her to have some well deserved happiness.

“Babe;]”, Heather hasn’t slept with all those people, they are just possibilities set up to create dramatic tension for storyline purposes. Heather knows who the father is, she just isn’t revealing it yet.
Emilie - the way she has been looking at people is just what the producers have put in to cause doubt, I don’t think you can take anything from that. However, on the Garry point, since Dawn and Garry are apparently leaving EastEnders, this could be a tie in cause of them going. On that point, I feel that it’s possible that Garry is the dad.
And on your Phil point, I don’t think he was staying there during the period where Heather could’ve got pregnant, although this did cross my mind as well.
Minty is obviously the most likely candidate, since he and Heather do have a past, I just feel that the producers would want to do something more interesting with the storyline than make it so obvious. After all this build up, they don’t want to ruin it the way Corrie people did with their cop out at revealing it was David who wrote the letters from Richard or even when EastEnders killed off Danielle. That remains one of the poorest decisions they have ever made.
I think the father to heathers baby is Darren. Would be nice if it was minty as they make a nice couple.

I think the father is not gary or darran or ricky. I think it maybe billy or minty because she kissed billy once in the bar so it may be him. My other suscesion is minty because he married heather so he proply will be the real father.

Heather headed to The vic where Phil works with the letter.. Ben then said to Heather he wishes Phil wasn’t his dad coz he’s always drunk and Ben would be better of without Phil.
Then Heather leaves and burns the letter. So I think Phil’s the daddy.
Plus I was in a shop the last a couple of weeks ago and heard someone say they had heard Phil was the father.
I think that the baby has to be mintys. I think minty rejects heather, and gary and minty argue. Gary loosing his best mate decides to look for a new life elsewhere. I also think that he and dawn do not get together!

At the club it was a thin/ skinny hand that put the lid through the bottom of the door and in the Minute Mart and the pub Darren keeps looking over at Heather looking all worried and that. So i think Darren is the dad.

I think its a possiblity that Phil is that dad, maybe this will explain why Heather has gone all funny around Shirley at the minute and maybe thats the reason Heather has decided to move out from Shirleys flat, NOT because of the drinking like everyone is thinking

I def think its Phils. The night Phil stayed over at Heather and Shirleys - he was really odd with Shirley in the morning and left the house really quickly. If it was anyone else’s baby, I think she would have told Shirly… but obviously if its Phils…. she cant…
Heather’s baby is Minty’s. It have ot away with how upset that she gt over the anulment and then after it was annouced in the pub very cruely that is when she contemplated having an abortion hence Minty lol.
I think it’s Darren. The clues are there:
- Darren giving Heather the lid, this is pretty much certainly the night she got pregnant.
- Darren randomly saying he doesn’t want kids
- Darren saying to Denise that not all men are bad.
- Darren one of the four in the pub
- I think there was one other exchange outside the taxi office as well.
Eastenders is always the same, whenever you get a bit of random interaction you just know they are setting something up. Main reason I watch it is to pick on these things and see if I’m right…

Last night on Eastenders she shouted out to the pub that it wasn’t Minty’s and I reckon if it was Minty’s baby she wouldn’t have been so adament that it wasn’t, she would’ve just run out of the pub or something. Also, I think she would’ve told Shirley the truth but if it is Phil’s obviously she wouldn’t because Shirley loves him and it would ruin their friendship. Hm, we could be suprised though

I’m really not sure who the dad is. It could be Darren as Eastenders is all about break ups and deaths. Darren might break up with Libby for this and thats why there are rumours that Libby is leaving Walford for good…
