Which character would you kill off in Eastenders?

While characters come and go in Eastenders, the last few weeks have seen the emergence of Archie as perhaps one of the most hated characters of all time. His underhand attempts to ruin the lives of everybody around him have sensationally backfired but is he actually the only person you would look to kill off in Eastenders?

Why not post details of the character you feel has had long enough on the Square and you would like to see written out of the program for good. Is it time to wave goodbye to Ian Beale? Is it time for Peggy to go on holiday? Should Phil call it a day? Or is Archie the only person you feel has outstayed his welcome on the square?

Once we have sufficient responses to this post we will post a poll which will include the top five characters you believe should be for the chop and we can all vote on the one we want to say goodbye to.

Please get rid of Peggy, she’s such a bad actress, also could we see the back of Max, why is he still in it apart from to make the rest of his family suffer some more. Also could we find someone for Heather, she’s so lovely and she deserves a good man, that will mean bringing someone new in as there isnt anyone for her at the present time.

It would be nice if the people responsible for the episodes of last week could be “killed off”.
But… as this will not happen… I can only hope that the less interesting storylines will soon be completed and that there will be new storylines like the one with Danielle.
At this moment I would hardly mind it if tomorrow the final episode would be broadcasted.

Max, Tanya… Patrick, Chelsea… who cares ?

After reading his comments on the Eastenders-page… Diederick Santer should be killed off !
Bringing in the biological father of Danielle is just sick… and it’s not the first time that he makes this kind of sick turns.

I switched off half way through last night.. i thought what’s the point??? another dragged out story with patrick and the notting hill riots. what else have we got coming up.. the long winded car incident with max and family.. and now phil is about to hit the bottle again. it’s the only thing they can writer about him when they run out of ideas.. EE seem to think the more gloom there is, the better it is… if EE think the danielle ronnie was too nice, what about boring bradley??? watching eastenders now is like watching everyone living on edge, and those on the programme that can smile are in bless waiting for something bad to happen.. what happened to variety? if everything is bad, the bad doesn’t have the same impact as it would if it was surrounded by good things

It should definitely be Archie and Janine, but then that would make it boring wouldn’t it! On that basis it should be Max, just a shame he hasn’t actually been killed enough people have wanted him dead and he’s just annoyingingly boring now!

Whoever the lazy,uninventive scriptwriters were who were responsible for that sham of an ending,should be killed off.They obviously arent up to it with their on going,unbeleivable storylines..I mean max buried alive? max run over by his 13yr old? wellard dying? doesnt exactly make great viewing

Could kill any except Ronnie, Roxy
and Gumbo. Can’t believe Eastenders have killed off one of their best stories and characters, and let go of one of the most popular actresses. They’ve gone mad, and probably handed the soap award to Coronation St.

If Ronnie and Danielle had been happily reunited the BBC wouldn’t have received one complaint. We’d all be uplifted and watching it over and over on Youtube.

Get rid of the Branning Family. Bring back Danielle she was a grate actress please let something happen when they are going to buried her? There are daughters and sons who are liven this storyline for real look wath its doing to them and there Mothers my God people do live like this in the real world. The people and your fans of EastEnders are very disappointed with your Writer he has hurt a lot of people that were waiten for Ronnie and Danielle to be togather and would of had a great storyline and to see Ronnie maken up to Danielle for all the hurt she caused her there is still time to bring her back from the dead its been done on a lot of soaps and Please think long and hard about wath your fans want its we the viewers that keep you soap EastEnders on TV

I was just getting to like the storyline with Danielle - glad that Ronnie finally knew! It dragged on so long and all we were waiting for was for Ronnie to know!!! ….. AND THEN YOU KILLED DANIELLE!!! Who thought up that one? - Should be sacked.

hi there,usually love eastenders bt loosing interest of late.some of the previous story lines were great,e.g tony and whitney/bianca,max and stacey etc.i would get rid of janine,she overacts and is obsolete to the show.max is one of the best actors in it,he always gets the balance right,i would like to see more story lines set around the ‘queen vic’as phil plays a vital role in the soap,as does little ben who is brilliant and should get an award.regards rosemary

I agree another dragged out storey line with the patrick thing,Like the Danielle and ronnie one ,but at least that was intersting untill they killed Danielle off and well they ruined it.
My vote is kill Archie off and bring Danielle bk dont realy care how its done i just think you ruined the oppertunity to make lovely storey lines of a mother and daughters loving relationship to grow and learn to know each other but hey i forgot for a moment then its eastenders that program is all sadness and tragic.
Maybe get some new writers in they might be able to add some light to the program because its starting to look grim all the time.

Archie!! He is evil. Diederek Santer should have his head delivered on a platter served up in the Queen Vic by Ronnie Mitchell, At least then we would get some satisfaction. That dude looks like that ridiculous interior designer from changing rooms with the mad hair do n the obnoxious suits!! Was’nt too long ago you guys were almost taken off air due to poor viewing why? Well it will happen again unless we get what we want frm the soap!! He does’nt care as long as he gets paid. I’m not tuning anymore what’s the point? Danielle’s death is already blown over! Archie should have died or should die. It’s a mistake bringing him back now. The fans hate him cos he’s responsible for Danielle’s death. No one’s campaigning to bring Archie back are they? It’s the adorable beautiful blonde everyone wants back!

Please bring Dannielle Jones’ character back. I don’t care how you do it, just do it as soon as possible, as I don’t think I’ll watch the show any longer if she’s not in it.

Perhaps she could be brought back under the pretense that her death was faked by heself, Janine and Ronnie, with the intent being to turn the entire square against Archie. The fact that Janine comforted Archie can be passed off as Janine doublecrossing Ronnie, again.

A lot of people are angry about your decision to kill off Danielle Jones. Sounds like the decision has influenced many of them to boycott the show for good. Bringing back her character might be your only way of keeping them tuned in to the show.

Either give ‘Ian Beale’ better lines and make him more believable or get rid of this character. His constant attempts at wheeling and dealing are extremely annoying and becoming very boring. We are expected to believe he is a business man but he is given lines that make him sound like an overgrown, whining, school boy.

Thing is as much as we all want Danielle to come back that’s virtually impossible and we all know they wont do it. I mean in case you hadn’t realized Ronnie saw Danielle’s DEAD body in that place with Danielle’s adoptive father, and she’s had her funeral. What are they gonna do, say that someone else’s body is in Danielle’s grave and that Danielle is in hospital somewhere in a comma? Get real. Please, I know it’s sad and I hate the writers for it but at the end of the day they can’t bring her back. There would be no realism to that.

i really wish you could get rid of ian beale , peggy mitchell , Zanab Massod as they all care for themselfs why did you ave to get rid of Danniell , Gus and Kevin as they were all really good characters. the viewers waited a load of time to find out about the Danniell and Ronnie situation and then you go and KILL DANNIELL i mean eastenders is getting real boring i think Ben, Lucy , janine and Tiffany should get alot more parts

Max, janine and stacey all need to go. I’m just bored of there chracters to be honest. We need a new family introduced. Perhaps a polish one would be interesting as would be closer to every day life. I have always been an eastenders fan, but lately it is becoming ridiculous. I think Janine is a good actress. Her facial expressions are brill!. It was a shame to kill Danielle off, but it is done now.!! I can name a few to get rid off, basically I would choose Paggy. Terrible actress. But please defianetly change some of the story lines. Phils behavour is becoming boring. I did hear a rumour that Ben was Grants!!! By the way, where is Ben these days?

Lucy Beale…. arrghh she is the most annoying character EVER.

I think i’m in a minority but I was delighted when they killed off Danielle, she was soooo annoying. Too dizzy, too mopy and always moaning.

Personally I’d also opt for writing out Bianca, Whitney, her brother and her real mother (none of which I like). Then possibly Jack Branning. Sadly I missed the chance to get shut of Yolande, good one EE for removing that character.

Pity we can’t bring Den back.
