While characters come and go in Eastenders, the last few weeks have seen the emergence of Archie as perhaps one of the most hated characters of all time. His underhand attempts to ruin the lives of everybody around him have sensationally backfired but is he actually the only person you would look to kill off in Eastenders?
Why not post details of the character you feel has had long enough on the Square and you would like to see written out of the program for good. Is it time to wave goodbye to Ian Beale? Is it time for Peggy to go on holiday? Should Phil call it a day? Or is Archie the only person you feel has outstayed his welcome on the square?
Once we have sufficient responses to this post we will post a poll which will include the top five characters you believe should be for the chop and we can all vote on the one we want to say goodbye to.

I remember reading before christmas that Peggy was going to die in a fire at the vic, i know she is ready for retiring, will be a shame when she goes!
Its time for the current writters to be killed off in a road traffic accident so there is no risk of their return.
Please get rid of Peggy, she’s such a bad actress, also could we see the back of Max, why is he still in it apart from to make the rest of his family suffer some more. Also could we find someone for Heather, she’s so lovely and she deserves a good man, that will mean bringing someone new in as there isnt anyone for her at the present time.
It would be nice if the people responsible for the episodes of last week could be “killed off”.
But… as this will not happen… I can only hope that the less interesting storylines will soon be completed and that there will be new storylines like the one with Danielle.
At this moment I would hardly mind it if tomorrow the final episode would be broadcasted.

I switched off half way through last night.. i thought what’s the point??? another dragged out story with patrick and the notting hill riots. what else have we got coming up.. the long winded car incident with max and family.. and now phil is about to hit the bottle again. it’s the only thing they can writer about him when they run out of ideas.. EE seem to think the more gloom there is, the better it is… if EE think the danielle ronnie was too nice, what about boring bradley??? watching eastenders now is like watching everyone living on edge, and those on the programme that can smile are in bless waiting for something bad to happen.. what happened to variety? if everything is bad, the bad doesn’t have the same impact as it would if it was surrounded by good things

It should definitely be Archie and Janine, but then that would make it boring wouldn’t it! On that basis it should be Max, just a shame he hasn’t actually been killed enough people have wanted him dead and he’s just annoyingingly boring now!

If Ronnie and Danielle had been happily reunited the BBC wouldn’t have received one complaint. We’d all be uplifted and watching it over and over on Youtube.

hi there,usually love eastenders bt loosing interest of late.some of the previous story lines were great,e.g tony and whitney/bianca,max and stacey etc.i would get rid of janine,she overacts and is obsolete to the show.max is one of the best actors in it,he always gets the balance right,i would like to see more story lines set around the ‘queen vic’as phil plays a vital role in the soap,as does little ben who is brilliant and should get an award.regards rosemary

Please bring Dannielle Jones’ character back. I don’t care how you do it, just do it as soon as possible, as I don’t think I’ll watch the show any longer if she’s not in it.
Perhaps she could be brought back under the pretense that her death was faked by heself, Janine and Ronnie, with the intent being to turn the entire square against Archie. The fact that Janine comforted Archie can be passed off as Janine doublecrossing Ronnie, again.
A lot of people are angry about your decision to kill off Danielle Jones. Sounds like the decision has influenced many of them to boycott the show for good. Bringing back her character might be your only way of keeping them tuned in to the show.
Either give ‘Ian Beale’ better lines and make him more believable or get rid of this character. His constant attempts at wheeling and dealing are extremely annoying and becoming very boring. We are expected to believe he is a business man but he is given lines that make him sound like an overgrown, whining, school boy.
Thing is as much as we all want Danielle to come back that’s virtually impossible and we all know they wont do it. I mean in case you hadn’t realized Ronnie saw Danielle’s DEAD body in that place with Danielle’s adoptive father, and she’s had her funeral. What are they gonna do, say that someone else’s body is in Danielle’s grave and that Danielle is in hospital somewhere in a comma? Get real. Please, I know it’s sad and I hate the writers for it but at the end of the day they can’t bring her back. There would be no realism to that.

Max, janine and stacey all need to go. I’m just bored of there chracters to be honest. We need a new family introduced. Perhaps a polish one would be interesting as would be closer to every day life. Definatly need some more gangsters back in it too. Gone abit soft recently since johnny allen left.

I have always been an eastenders fan, but lately it is becoming ridiculous. I think Janine is a good actress. Her facial expressions are brill!. It was a shame to kill Danielle off, but it is done now.!! I can name a few to get rid off, basically I would choose Paggy. Terrible actress. But please defianetly change some of the story lines. Phils behavour is becoming boring. I did hear a rumour that Ben was Grants!!! By the way, where is Ben these days?

I think i’m in a minority but I was delighted when they killed off Danielle, she was soooo annoying. Too dizzy, too mopy and always moaning.
Personally I’d also opt for writing out Bianca, Whitney, her brother and her real mother (none of which I like). Then possibly Jack Branning. Sadly I missed the chance to get shut of Yolande, good one EE for removing that character.

I would love if Max Branning was killed off as he is a very mean person and he is very mean to Stacey. I believe that he should be killed off later this year and the storyline is that he is murdered by a serial killer in the Queen Vic.
I would love to have Max Branning killed off in Eastenders because he is a very mean person. I would love the storyline to be that he is killed in a car crash while he is driving Stacey to the police. Stacey survives but with catashrophic injures.
