Tonight’s episode showed Martin displaying a range of emotions over the death of his mother Pauline. He switched on his mobile phone for the first time after Christmas to find a voicemail message from her. Convinced that it would be more poison, he decided to go around to the Fowler home and get rid of everything to charity shops and made hasty funeral arrangements in a peak of anger.
Rebecca is still blaming Sonia for the death of “nanny Pauline”. At the end of the episode , Sonia, Dot and Martin listened to Pauline’s last message to her son, where she said sorry and even forgave Sonia. Martin broke down in tears.
There was some much needed light relief in Walford with teenager Darren making a play for Mickey’s love interest and ending up being tied to the bed with “loser” written on his forehead in lipstick! Stacie’s pursuit of Max continues - will she behave herself at the Branning party ?
