		<description>Ian Beale was quite close to his "Auntie Pauline" as she reminded him of his grandmother and father. He is still grieving the death of his own mother, so it was bound to bring back memories for him.

I must admit to not quite liking the way that Pauline's character changed over the last few months. Her hatred of Sonia was one thing, but her attitude towards Joe - her last chance at happiness was also quite bad. It would have been nice to see Pauline happy for once and show her more caring side. No mother would treat her son like she did.

It will be interesting to see how the show develops without one of its central characters.</description>
