A strange episode tonight in the aftermath of Pauline’s death, and the knock on effect to her close friends and family.
From the reaction of the characters you would think that Ian Beale was Pauline’s nearest and dearest, with Martin showing very little emotion about the death of his mother. No doubt stunned by recent events, Martin will soon be over come by grief, but will Sonia be caught out? Will Rebecca spill the beans?
Did anyone remember that Pauline had one final visitor after Sonia left? Who was the mystery caller and what occurred?
Max and Stacie continue to play their games, with Max sure to get caught at some stage with Stacie hell bent on revenge against Bradley.Â
There are lots of questions to be answered over the coming weeks and months, but can you guess who did what and what happened next?

Follow-up comment rss or Leave a TrackbackIan Beale was quite close to his “Auntie Pauline” as she reminded him of his grandmother and father. He is still grieving the death of his own mother, so it was bound to bring back memories for him.
I must admit to not quite liking the way that Pauline’s character changed over the last few months. Her hatred of Sonia was one thing, but her attitude towards Joe - her last chance at happiness was also quite bad. It would have been nice to see Pauline happy for once and show her more caring side. No mother would treat her son like she did.
It will be interesting to see how the show develops without one of its central characters.
