At the end of Tuesday’s episode of Eastenders, Martin announced to Sonia that “he knew” (who Pauline’s killer was) and was anxious to tell Sonia about it. Martin has never been the sharpest tool in the box and announced that “it all made sense” and that it was Joe (Pauline’s husband).

Full of rage, Martin went off to find Joe. Full of worry, Sonia went to see Dot - to try to persuade her to not talk to the police - and one of her funniest lines was “I can’t take any more bible”.

There were some nice moments between Ian and Martin with Ian showing what a big softie he is really and looking out for his younger cousin. At the end of the episode, Martin returned home to find Joe in the house and fists flew until Sonia screamed “It was me!”
