astacey.jpgStacey Slater from Eastenders (played by Lacey Turner) first appeared on the show in November 2004 and has gone on to become something of a hero to many young Eastenders fans around the world. She has had her problems, with her brother Sean suffering from depression and other psychological illnesses and her mother suffering from bipolar, which she now appears to have developed. In between this she has been married (and still is) to Bradley Branning, only start to start an affair with his father Max although ultimately they were found out.

She also lost her great friend Danielle when she was tragically run over after finally being reunited with her mother, Ronnie Mitchell, and this is believed to have pushed over the edge. She is currently fighting her demons of drink and potentially drugs but hopefully there will be a happy end to this rather tragic tale.

Lacey Turner has been in the show for nearly 5 years now and continues to astound and surprise many people with her acting skills. She can play comical, she can play serious, she can play destitute and ultimately she is showing itself to be a very good actress who certainly has potential for a career outside of Eastenders.
