As the big day beckons for Peggy Mitchell how else would you celebrate your forthcoming nuptials than a spot of cheerleading with your friends and family!

The scenes were expertly acted, the script was perfect and the overall effect was exactly what the writers had hoped for. Peggy Mitchell and the crowd all dressed in cheerleader outfits, shaking their pom-poms and generally having a good time. But is this the end of the good times for Peggy as she moves on to her marriage to Archie?

As for Archie, he was terrorising the sad lonely figure of Danielle who was desperate to tell Ronnie who she is and make up for lost time. Elsewhere Ronnie has started to soften and show that she does miss the daughter she was forced to give away and mourned some time ago. This storyline is finally coming to a head, and while it has dragged on for some time, there is no doubt the end result will be explosive to say the least.

Rumours suggest at least one actor is leaving the Square with Danielle and Archie amongst the favourites for the chop - but surely it is too soon for Danielle to go?
