Life without Bradley Branning is not something which Max Branning can face at the moment with Bradley’s father struggling to come to terms with his son’s death. Max has been drinking excessively, has Stacey’s friend Becca chasing him and is in place which is dark and very disturbing for him. He’s lashing out at strangers in the street, not sleeping and ultimately Max Branning is on the verge of a nervous breakdown.

Quite what it will take to bring Max back on to a level keel remains to be seen but the man who has been so strong and so ruthless in the past has been literally devastated by his son’s death. Max is the only person aware that Stacey is the real killer of Archie Mitchell and so far he has refused steadfastly to let his secret out despite the pressure of his son taking the rap for the death of Archie Mitchell is beginning to take its toll.
