Max Branning is finally opening up to the fact that his son Bradley has gone amid signs that he is on the verge of a nervous breakdown. Max has a lot of guilt which he needs to pour out in relation to Bradley whom he treated very badly after going behind his back with his then girlfriend Stacey. Over the last few days we have seen signs that Max is under more and more pressure and tonight we saw him offer some very cruel words of advice to Darren.

Dot Cotton is coming to Max’s assistance as she can see he is struggling and she has been through a similar situation itself. Thankfully Max finally seems to be taking notice of those around him and with Bradley’s 23rd birthday just around the corner this could be a turning point for his life.

Elsewhere In Albert Square, Christian appears to be reverting to type with a more than boisterous night out on the tiles with Roxy. This could well test his own relationship to the limit as Syed begins to question his decision to give up his religion, give up his family and move in with Christian.
