In a shocking new storyline it is believed that Lucy Beale will find herself pregnant in the weeks ahead after sleeping with Leon Small at a party toward the end of 2009. While Ian Beale, her father, is devastated when he finds out the news there is a very different reaction from her stepmother Jane who herself is unable to have children.

This makes for a very interesting and potentially very controversial storyline which could see Lucy Beale become a surrogate mother for her stepmother and her father. Lucy has a very chequered history in Eastenders having become involved in blackmail and bullying to name but two. Quite how she will cope with an unwanted pregnancy remains to be seen but more to the point, how will her stepmother cope with this!
