Lucy Beale (full name Lucy Katherine Beale) is a fictional character in Eastenders that is currently played by Melissa Suffield. The character has been played by various other actresses over the years and has been in the show for some time. Lucy Beale is the daughter of Ian Beale, the mother of Cindy Beale, the twin sister of Peter Beale with two half-brothers and one half sister.

Lucy Beale has seen a number of fairly strong storylines over the last few years as has grown from a child into a young adult. She recently found she was pregnant and after initially agreeing that her stepmother Jane could bring up a child as her own she later changed her mind and her father Ian Beale took her for a termination. She has also been involved in blackmail plots, bullying and violence although it looks as though of late she has begun to calm down and her relationship with her father, which has often been strained, appears stronger than ever before.
