Only hours after admitting to Denise that he had killed Owen, Lucas is now planting the seed of doubt in the minds of Denise’s daughters and giving the impression that he believes that she is guilty. This controversial move by Lucas comes only hours after Denise was taken in by the police for questioning after Owen’s mother gave a detailed statement to police suggesting that Denise had reason to see Owen dead.

There is speculation in the press that Lucas will attempt to kill Denise and make her death appear as a suicide thereby closing down the police investigation into the death of Owen and any subsequent review of Trina’s death. While Lucas’s plan appears to be well thought out and a potential winner for him there is speculation that he will be caught out and ultimately brought to justice. However, we will shortly see a clear out of some existing characters from Eastenders with speculation rife regarding Denise’s family.
