The character of Jack Branning in Eastenders is becoming central to the ongoing murder plot of Archie Mitchell. Jack seems to be everywhere, talking to everybody and indeed it looks as though he is set to drop his nephew Bradley Branning into the mix. So did Jack Branning kill Archie Mitchell?

There is a growing feeling that Jack Branning will have more of a role to play as we approach the 19 February, the evening when we learn the identity of Archie Mitchell’s killer. There are rumours that Bradley goes on the run after being informed that the police have his DNA from his fight with Archie, there are rumours that Ronnie is about to be arrested but ultimately it looks as though the identity of the murderer is as yet unknown.

This week promises to be an excellent time for Eastenders fans with rumour and counter rumour in the run up to the live show on Friday, 19 February. So who do you think killed Archie Mitchell?
