Eastenders has certainly taken a turn for the worse with the re-emergence of the very dangerous and very troubled Rob who has decided to take his revenge on Whitney. While Whitney thinks that she has escaped his clutches by running off to Southend, the final throes of last night’s programme saw Rob sitting in Southend not a million miles from Whitney. So is Whitney in danger?

There is no doubt that Whitney has had more than her fair share of troubles over the last few months and indeed she has a very chequered past. However, after her various ups and downs she has finally got herself back on a relatively even keel although her best friend and her brother seem to have deserted her in her hour of need. As a consequence it is now up to “Fat boy” otherwise known as Arthur to come to her rescue when finally Rob catches up with her at her Southend hotel room. But how will it all end?

It is been some time since we have seen real danger in Eastenders and there are serious concerns about the safety of not only Whitney but also Arthur. Arthur has also seen his fair share of ups and downs over the last few months and there are many Eastenders fans out there who have certainly taken to his character. He is something of a knight in shining armour, with a heart of gold, but he never seems to get what he deserves and never seems to find happiness. However, will this be his chance to finally break free and find happiness?
