Over the last few months there has been little laughter on Albert Square as Eastenders has taken on something of a more serious twist. We have seen more than our fair share of doom and gloom and murders over the last few months and many people believe it is time to get some more fun back into Albert Square. Do you agree?

Very often it is the murders and controversial storylines which grab headlines around the world went in all honesty there are a number of fun storylines still around. The latest theme is the World Cup in South Africa which will see Minty and Darren making the journey to see the greatest football show on earth. We also have the romantic lives of Pat and Peggy which are always worth a laugh and are always more complicated than you might ever imagine!

Eastenders seems to go through patches whereby the main storylines are either very funny or very serious and at this moment in time there appear to be more serious storylines than fun times ahead - but that will change!
