Is Denise leaving Eastenders is a question which many fans are starting to ask after she was attacked by her husband Lucas in connection with the deaths of Owen and Tricia. It is unclear at this moment in time whether Denise is actually leaving the show but there is speculation that a number of high-profile stars are set to be written out as the producers of Eastenders look to revamp the show and bring in some new families and strong characters.

There have been some enormous storylines in the show over last couple of years which have kept fans glued to their sets with many of the current storylines having seen their seeds planted many moons ago. Despite the fact that Eastenders has received significant criticism in the past for its “dull and boring” storylines, there is no doubt that the executive producers have excelled themselves recently!

This evening we should see whether Denise survives her ordeal with Lucas and whether in fact Lucas finally gets his comeuppance as the plot thickens and the storyline comes to a head. Surely we cannot lose one of the shows stronger characters in Denise under such circumstances?
