Lucas has taken drastic measures to cover himself and it looks as though he is determined to kill Denise and allow her to take the blame for the deaths of both Owen and Trina, despite the fact he has already admitted his guilt to her. Last night saw Lucas take Denise on a journey far away from Albert Square and effectively keep her prisoner in the car as he forced her to recite various passages from the Bible.
Lucas has already planted seeds of doubt in the minds of Denise’s daughters and friends while on the surface appearing to give support to his wife. This is turning into a very complex and a very difficult situation for the inhabitants of Albert Square with nobody even contemplating that Lucas could be the one behind the murders. However, slowly but surely his plans are set to unravel and it will become clear over the next few days exactly what part he played in the deaths of Owen and Trina.
The big question of the moment is whether Denise is dead or whether indeed she will escape and blow Lucas’s cover.

Lucas will then tell everyone that the body found was identical to Denise and he made a mistake. Denise will confess all to Chelsea & Libby. When confronted by the girls, Lucas kills Libby and orders Chelsea to run away. I think that Charlie Slater will die in the Vic fire and Kat & Alfie return for his funeral. Stacey & Jean will exit because she reveals the identity of her baby’s father and they leave the square. Liz will leave because there’s nothing left for her. Adam & Minty will leave to visit Amanda. Zsa Zsa and Leon will leave together. Peggy will leave to stay with Grant.
Minty could go to live with Gary, Dawn and Summer possibly.
Sam Mitchell will be released from prison early, for good behaviour and will attempt to slipt Ronnie and Jack up at the wedding, by annoucing that she is pregnant with his baby.
I think she lives. i think they pulled that prostitute out of the water…
I cannot believe Eastenders has exit one of the best actresses on the show. Denise was one of the strongest personalites in the show and her departure will be grately missed. I personally found her character was one that got me hooked on the soap ! I hope the writers make sure that Lucas gets justice and that the girls will find out that there mother was innocent and murdered ! Farewell to her character !
I have been reading some of the opinions of people who have tried to work out what has happened to Denise in Eastenders, I note that Lucas has been in to identify the body!! If the body he was shown was not Denise then HE must know where Denise is - this then rules out the possibility of her having survived and made it to the police station to help the police - I do not think that it was Denise that was taken out of the water, I had a feeling that the diver was going to pull that person out and then go down for another! none of them Denise, he would also find Denise’s mobile phone that Lucas threw in there.
I do think it is possible that Lucas has taken her to the same place he has taken others before her and that somehow she is found when Lucas is followed by a suspicious policeman who has been given Denises mobile, But they need to hold onto this story line so maybe in a week or so…..
If Lucas is leaving the square at any time I think he will meet his death, either in a car chase or soon after being put inside, the character has used up it’s interest, Once he is caught he will have no links on the square and the makers of the programme will want to get as many yards out of the finale as possible.
This is of course only my own opinion.
