Denise is alive and kicking with last nights revelation that Lucas has her locked away in some form of cellar and even had the nerve to take food back to her from her own “wake”. Eastenders fans could not believe that Denise had disappeared so quickly without any word in the press and without any inkling from the Eastenders cast. However, it is now apparent that Lucas has her locked away as he continues to play the grieving husband and comfort his “family”.

However, many people believe that Patrick is the key to unlocking this particular issue as he is adamant that Denise would not have left her family and he does not believe she is actually the murderer of Owen. The scene is now set for Patrick to begin his own investigations and he most certainly has his eye on Lucas whom he has never trusted.

It is unclear at this moment in time how Denise will actually make their way back into the show although she is certain to escape at some point to the relief of her daughters and her family. Quite how this happens and when this will happen will no doubt unfold over the coming days and weeks.
