After being set up by a mystery person Janine was finally released from police custody and headed back to Walford to see who was behind the plot to put her behind bars. She has blamed everybody from Jack Branning to Ronnie, from Phil Mitchell to Ryan flatmate and many more in between!

It now appears as though Janine was not the killer and tonights live episode will see the murderer revealed, at least to the UK viewing public. There has been much speculation over the last few days with regards to the identity of the killer but the truth is that nobody knows, not even the actors.

The Eastenders scriptwriters believe they have given fans of Eastenders at least three separate clues to the identity of the killer although in reality nobody knows quite what they are. Tonights show will mark the 25th anniversary of the program and is certain to catch the attention of millions of viewers!
