In a moving scene (which could have been from an Eastenders storyline) Wendy Richards (who played  Pauline Fowler) was a guest on ITV’s “Loose Woman”.

“Loose Woman” is an afternoon chat show where a panel of ladies talk about the issues of the day, and have special guests to chat to.  Wendy Richards was one of today’s guests, and they had a lovely surprise when they brought on “Pauline’s” dog Betty.  Betty had been Pauline’s dog for some time and Wendy Richards had grown very fond of the dog.

While she has not seen the dog since leaving the show, there was a rather moving moment when they met again.  The dog obviously recognised Wendy as she was all over her, cuddling, licking and snuggling up to Ms Richards.

Unscripted, unexpected and a very moving sight to see!
