While Archie Mitchell has been plotting for months to get his hands on the Queen Vic pub, in many ways it was never his intention to take control of Peggy’s pride and joy. However, that may happen now after Roxy and Ronnie attempted to sweet talk their father into moving into the pub and allowing Peggy and the rest of the Mitchell clan to remain there. While initially the talks were going well, inevitably they broke down and ended up in a furious battle after which Archie confirmed he would be taking control of the Queen Vic and you would be evicting the Mitchells!

Despite Ronnie attempting to put on a brave face it seems inevitable that Archie will evict the Mitchells over the Christmas period and take control of the central point of Eastenders. Elsewhere Syed’s wedding plans are in disarray after Christian begins to lose his cool and the pressure begins to build. He is now planning to run away with his lover and leave Albert Square forever but will Syed have the nerve to abandon his bride to be and move to pastures new for a completely new life?

Ian is being terrorised by Phil Mitchell, who is unaware that Ian has been blackmailed by Archie, and there appears to be some unfinished business here with Ian Beale certain to get more grief from the Mitchell family and be potentially disowned by his half brother Ben.
