Eastenders UpdateIt was a close call tonight for Carly Wicks as she went on a date with Warren (played by Eastenders’ newcomer, Will Mellor). Chelsea and Preeti tried to find Carly to warn her of impending danger.

Meanwhile, Carly was enjoying being wined and dined and at the end of the evening when Warren thought he was “on a promise”, they went to the Queen Vic for drinks and a game of darts.

Protective Sean worked out that Warren had bad intentions and saw him spike Carly’s drink with a date-rape drug.

Warren and Carly went to the Wicks house and as Carly helped herself to Pat’s mini-bar, Warren would not take no for an answer and became amorous. Chelsea and Preeti saw a struggle and got into the house to find Sean trying to steady Carly and Warren lying on the floor. It was a close call, so they decided to have a drink at the pub.
It seemed as though there was a sisterly truce between Carly and Chelsea until Preeti displayed her bruises and said she had warned Chelsea (who had set up the date) of Warren. A slanging match ensued and Chelsea told Carly that she would never be of interest to Sean. She was to be proved wrong as the episode ended with Sean and Carly canoodling in the portakin on the car lot.

Elsewhere in the square, a disaster was averted as Jim and Bradley managed to get back into the house (Dot had locked herself out with baby George and lit cigarette inside). The cigarette had brunt out and Dot took this as a sign to quit smoking. Jim had taken out the rubbish (containing Marge the hamster) and this had been placed on a furnace by one of the builders in Albert Square. Thinking that Marge had been cremated, Bradley and Stacey bought a replacement guinea pig, but found out it was male! Then Marge appeared and seemed happy to have a playmate. Awww - young love!
