Ronnie and Roxie were still not on speaking terms, since Roxie had seen their father (who she idealises ) and Jack had played his trump card at Phil’s birthday meal. Roxie warned her that she did not know anything about Jack, so Ronnie did a bit of snooping and asked questions. She found two tickets for the ballet on 1 February, and asked him out on the day to hear that he was going to the ballet with his daughter. Ronnie moved in with Jack and picked up the phone when he ex-wife Selina called. Ronnie visited Selina to find that Jack’s daughter was in a wheel chair, paralysed from the waist down (apparently Jack’s fault).

Christian thought that Jane had settled for second best when marrying Ian and lacked fun and passion in her life. As a treat, he took her to the R&R club and had booked a stripper who was dressed as a naval officer. Unfortunately, Ian turned up at the club and later chucked Christian out.

Hazel was convinced that Minty was having second thoughts about the wedding and asked Heather to spy on him. Heather turned up at the Arches to spy and discovered Minty and Garry’s secret.

Jay befriends Dot in the laundrette but then steals her house keys. The “crew” ransack her house and let out the budgies. She turns up later with Jay still in the house and one of the birds flies out of the window. Jay apologises to her.
