Following the disastrous meal in Albert Square’s Fargoes restaurant, Jane’s brother Christian turns up asking to stay, as he has been thrown out. Jane does an about turn and says that they have plenty of room (the Beale house must be like a tardis!) and lets Christian stay there.

Dawn was adding a feminine touch to Jase’s flat my adding a few throws and cushions. She decided to tidy up Jay’s room and found the flick knife. Jay had bunked off school all day and was given an almighty telling-off my Jase. However, Jay sneaks out later to join the gang and they begin their terror campaign against Dot.

Peggy receives a strange phone call from the bank who ask her what she intends to do with the large amount of money that has been deposited. At a tense birthday meal, Jack and Phil exchange jibes and Phil asks why it was that Phil sold the car lot to him. The penny drops when Peggy realises where her new found wealth had come from and that she had been deceived.
