It was a highly-charged Eastenders tonight as Stacey found herself with an oxygen mask on her face. The doctors asked Sean whether her drink had been spiked – to which he said that he did not know, but hated the way in which she was staring at him (like her eyes were made of glass). Stephen Beale contacted Charlie and told him of the incident at the R&R club, to which Charlie, Mo and Jean arrived at the hospital. Jean was in manic mode as she wound Sean up by asking him about Stacey – and he decided to go in search of Max ( who he blamed for Stacey’s state of mind). Medical tests revealed that Stacey had taken GHB – liquid ecstasy and the family were shocked to learn that Stacey had done this intentionally. Jean tried to cheer Stacey up but failed miserably. Stacey was discharged from the hospital, but left before her family managed to see her.

Back in Albert Square, Tanya and Max had both received notice of the Divorce Hearing but reacted in different ways – Tanya by drinking red wine and dancing around, Max in thoughtful solitude sending a text to his daughter, Abi. Abi later turned up to see Max and he told her that the Christmas DVD meant that Tanya would win and he would lose everything. Abi asked questions about the dvd and it looks as though she may get rid of the “evidence”.

After failing to contact Max, Sean turned up at Tanya’s house and told her that he felt guilty for leaving Stacey with their mad mother. After goading Tanya, he finally revealed that he killed someone – his own father.
