There always seems to be some family troubles in Eastenders and Ian Beale has his fair share of those. Lucy is upset that Steven has been receiving a lot of attention from Ian as he tries to coach him for running trials. She gets stroppy as the school disco is approaching and Bobby has ruined all of her make-up. Ian offers to take her shopping for clothes but she wants the make-up replaced too.

The Mitchells try to get Honey to accept Pat’s offer of accommodation and Ronnie comes up with the story that Roxie is in love with Billy and it is best if they are not physically close. Honey is non too subtle in passing this on to Billy who may have been having fantasies about his distant cousins.

Tanya hears the results of Rainie’s drug test and although she is clean of hard drugs, she has been taking marijuana. Tanya is concerned that this will go against her when applying for custody of her children and asks Rainie to leave.

Jack has a tape of Phil admitting to knowing of the dodgy cars of the car lot and blackmails him into signing it over to him (it is owned by Peggy) or sending the tape to the police. He takes a copy and goes into partnership with Darren (who will act as his apprentice). Jack promised to hand over the car lot to Darren on his 18th birthday. After finding out of Darren’s deception, Phil threatens him.
