It’s “delivery day” for Tanya as, despite having her bag packed and ready for the hospital, she is carrying on with her Christmas preparations and asks Jane to be godmother to her new baby (when it arrives).  Meanwhile, Max is stressing about Lauren getting friendly with Peter Beale. After a “man to man” chat with Peter, he allows him to see Lauren as long as he does not put a finger on Lauren.

Elsewhere in Albert Square, Billy has been getting into the festive spirit by wearing furry antlers as he does a roaring trade on the fruit and veg stall. However, he comes a little unstuck as the holly he has been giving away with each purchase is not only taken from the wild but affecting trade at the flower stall. Bradley asks him to put a percentage of the profits into the charity box that Peggy has set up. Despite a good day on the stall, he still has financial problems  - unfortunately Honey is completely unawares and has booked a table at Fargoes. Billy reluctantly takes money from Pat to pay for the meal.
Steven and Stacey seem to have become new best friends and Stacey and Bradley reluctantly agree to go clubbing with him, as it is his 18th birthday. Unfortunately , when they have a pre-clubbing cocktail at the Brannings, Steven spills a drink over Bradley.
