Tonight’s episode of Eastenders continued with the storyline of Dot determined to christen baby George/Tomas. She bought a christening robe and arranged for the Vicar to discuss the details. Over tea and cakes, the clergyman asked a few awkward questions about Dot’s son Nick and whether there was a picture of “father and son” together. Dot and Jim managed to avoid the question by saying that Nick had never met his “son”. However, the pair came across a stumbling block when they realised that a birth certificate (giving the parent’s details) would be required for the baby.

Elsewhere in Albert Square, Stacey was still mooning over Max and whilst in his house, remembered him through the smell of his aftershave and on his shirts. Sadly though Bradley revealed that Max and Tanya had put down a deposit on a Spanish Villa and had no intention of returning.

Darren, still unhappy at Keith’s offer of a council flat in Streatham decided to take matters into his own hands and sleep in the square.

Carly tried to persuade Chelsea that her boyfriend Sean was a “ratbag”. She arranged to meet him and dialed Chelsea’s telephone number so that she could hear a conversation between herself and Sean. She was trying to get him to admit that he did not care for Chelsea, but he did not fall into the trap and it only served for Chelsea’s hatred of Carly to increase. However, it was not long before Carly and Sean were canoodling once more - this time in a shower!
