People in Albert Square were either coming to terms with change, or making plans for the future in tonight’s episode.

Phil caught his son Ben and friend Abby about to set fire to Stella’s belongings in the Queen Vic’s cellar (surrounded by beer kegs), and Ben admitted that he hated Stella. It looks like Phil has got himself a Devil-child.

Carly was trying to come to terms with the fact that Kevin had lied to her about who he was and she could not accept him as her father. The end of the episode saw Kevin drive off with his passport.

Meanwhile Dawn is falling for Rob’s lies about leaving his wife May for her (he is spotted kissing May in the Queen Vic) and there are emotional exchanges between Sonia and the Eastenders as she prepares to go to Manchester to be with her sister Bianca. There seems to be three main places that the residents flee to - America, Spain or Manchester - perhaps Kevin is heading to one of those places ?
