Phil tells Kevin that the lease on the Car Lot is up for renewal, and that a mate is interested in paying more for it.  Phil suggests that Kevin can keep the lease if he sells some old company cars that Phil can source and do up; with a 50/50 split in profit.  Kevin is not keen, but the next day he finds the car lot has been trashed.  He confronts Phil, but later sees Jase re-painting the Car Lot.  He realises that Jase is stuck in Phil’s clutches, and changes his mind about Phil’s offer.  When Phil delivers the first car, Kevin is impressed with the quality.  However, Darren is unconvinced.

Peter’s French exchange student, Monique, arrives in Albert Sqaure.  The Beales struggle to form a bond with her, due to the language barrier.  However, she is fooling them and can speak fluent English.  She takes a fancy to Steven, who has taken over Deano’s stall (much to Ian’s annoyance).    Stacey is annoyed to find Steven selling clothes on his stall, and that night his stall is trashed.  He immediately blames Stacey, and tells everyone that he has been to the police.  Stacey’s stall struggles while Steven’s business booms.  Meanwhile, the Beales stop Monique from seeing Steven, but she is happy when Steven turns up blaming Ian for wrecking his stall.

Meanwhile in Albert Sqaure, the Wicks find out that Deano has been attacked in prison.  Billy and Honey worry about their future living arrangements, and Gary decides to go on holiday.  Billy pesters Ronnie for a job in the club, and Honey gets confused with a letter about their benefits.  Ronnie is unimpressed when she finds the builders working in The Vic rather than the club, and Heather remains determined to get Shirley and Vince together.
