Ronnie begins to worry about her contract with Jack, and becomes uneasy about his continued presence in Walford. Jack begins to become more involved, and eventually tells Roxy, Peggy and Phil that he is the joint owner of the club. Roxy is furious when she finds out, and the pair have a massive fall-out. A furious Phil finds out about Peggy’s problems, and finds himself tempted to start drinking again. Later in the week, with things between Ronnie and Roxy still strained, Ronnie moves out of The Vic after a disagreement with Phil. Phil and Jack continue their confrontation.

Lucy pesters Ian for a birthday party, and later her and Peter celebrate their birthday. Steven continues to argue with Ian, but hits rock bottom and is pushed to new extremes after his latest confrontation. Stacey has to reason with Steven to save his life, as he can no longer bear the rejection of his family.

Gary returns from holiday, and Heather continues her pursuit of him. Billy’s money worries continue, and Jase receives an unexpected visitor. Dawn tries to get used to wearing glasses, but is worried about Jase’s reaction, while Dot continues to struggle with Jim in hospital.
