As the fallout from Samantha Mitchell’s disappearance continues it seems as though Phil Mitchell is punching above its weight having taken out a substantial loan with loan sharks from the criminal fraternity in London. He is now being hounded by the loan sharks who have their eyes on his business assets and his car as they look to call in at least part of the loan. So is Phil Mitchell punching above his weight?

Despite the fact that Phil has reverted to his old tactics such as intimidation and abuse, the loan sharks with whom he is involved with today are unforgiving and not easily intimidated. There are rumours that he is about to lose the garage business and indeed there is concern about the future of the Queen Vic pub.

Archie Mitchell has finally got his revenge on the Mitchell family having persuaded Sam Mitchell to disappear which has now seen the £250,000 bail bond evaporate. What will happen next? Is Phil in danger? Is he in too deep?
