It seems that we are about to see more of the Mitchell clan arrive on Eastenders with the arrival of Ronnie and Roxy (played by Samantha Janus and Rita Simons), cousins of Phil and Grant.

Rumour has it that these two arrivals have been in the pipeline for some time, and it looks as though the characters will hit the screen with a bang - at Phil’s wedding. Janus is reported to be receiving in the region of £450,000 in a two year deal, although it is not known what agreement Rita Simons (niece of Alan Sugar) has negotiated.

The lack of new fresh blood has seen the show fall in the ratings of late, and there are high hopes that the deadly duo may well be able to reverse this trend. Stand back for the fireworks as Peggy, Ronnie and Roxy go on the march!
