They show them on WETA (DC) at 9 am Saturday morning, which is as close to Siberia as possible, but I too have been watching since Sharon and Ian were teenagers (he has ALWAYS been hard to love, which is part of why I love the show) and so I tape the Saturday am show and am happy that it's now repeated Friday afternoons. I don't know why the show is so addictive, but it has been for me. It has not caught on with friends I've shown it to, but whenever I find someone who loves it I feel like I've discovered someone else on my island.

Hi I am 44 and live in South Africa.Have been watching EE for about 12 years and cannot get enough of the show, I think the charaters are great and there have been some really interesting story lines, that the everyday person can relate to.
BBC KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK AND LONG LIVE EE

live in the USA BBC America carried current EE. it was dropped from their schedul in 2003. I am getting 1 hour a week when PBS is not having a drive we are now in 2003 just about where I was when BBC America decided they did not have enough viewers to run EE. I am still heartbroken over their decision

I'm 54 and live in Clinton, Maryland, USA. I've been watching from the beginning on WETA-TV from Washington, DC. WETA is now horribly behind the UK (currently showing episodes from January, 2003). I dropped my cable TV and got Dish Network because they offered BBC America which showed EastEnders (larded with commercials so the 2-hour omnibus took 2 1/2 hours to air). Then BBCA dropped EE. Dish Network picked up EE and offers it (commercial free) for $10 per month and the episodes are 5 to 6 weeks behind the UK.

I am 62 years old, been watching EE since I found it being broadcast on a world satellite link to Japan back in 1987. I also can only get it now on Dishnet on pay-per-view, and I'm told they have a "lock" on it, and no one else can carry it. Does anyone know if this is true? I think BBC America should put it back on for us loyal fans, like it used to be.
Oh yeah, I live in Coos Bay, Oregon, USA. Thanks
