Stacey stresses as she fails to find her mobile, and snaps at Bradley. Max is unaware that she has lost it, and sends her a text telling her to meet him in the usual place, signing it from Jerry. Jack Branning arrives in Walford, splashing Ronnie on the way. Jack meets the family, and is irritated when he finds out that Max failed to tell him that Jim suffered from a stroke. Jean returns Stacey’s mobile to Sean, who sees the messages from Jerry…

Peggy lets slip to Damian that Ian owns the café. Damian storms over and threatens Ian. Ian admits that he never had an affair with Roxy; it was all fabricated to get rid of Damian. As Damian goes to hit Ian, Jack steps in and flashes his police badge. Roxy remains adamant that she can deal with Damian, but Ronnie is unconvinced. Ronnie changes her top in front of Damian, rips it off, and pulls Damian on top of her. She screams, and Jack is soon on hand to arrest Damian. Ronnie promises to drop the charges as long as Damian gives her the money he owes.

Meanwhile in Albert Square, Jay agrees to meet his old friends, but later stays at home after Jase is irritated that his dad spends no time with him. Jase agrees to go on a date with Dawn the following evening. Zainab checks up on an ill Denise, offering no sympathy in the process. Kevin becomes convinced that Zainab is angry because Syed is dead. Later, he tries to sympathise with her, but she explains that Syed is alive; he is a successful businessman. Zainab decides to invite Syed for dinner, to put an end to their feud.
