Jane is still struggling to track down Ian, and receives several silent calls on her mobile. She admits to the children that Ian is missing – he did not go to South Africa as he planned. A vicious Lucy tells Jane that Ian is back with Cindy, and she had best find somewhere else to live. Lucy tries to persuade Peter and Bobby that they should run away so that they can find Cindy. Jane stops Lucy from leaving, but is interrupted as Steven enters…

Stacey chases her mum through the square, wearing the wedding dress that Jean saw her in. Max tries to calm Stacey down, since Jean has declared that she will not be going to the wedding. Max takes Jean for a drink to try to change her mind. Later, Jean forgives Stacey and agrees that she should be able to choose her own wedding dress. Stacey is resentful towards Max for getting involved, but Bradley is impressed at his calm handling of the situation. He decides to ask Max to be his best man.

Heather has decided to move in with Shirley, but Queenie argues that Shirley only wants her for the rent money. Just as Heather and Shirley are ready to leave, Queenie ‘falls over’; convincing Heather that she is unable to care for herself. Later, Heather overhears Queenie laying into her on the phone, persuading her to pack up and rush to Shirley’s. However, Shirley’s landlord has changed the locks and thrown her bags out.

Meanwhile, Ben is caught trying to return Roxy’s bra. Roxy tells him that she’ll keep it a secret, reminding Ben of Stella. He trashes the room, and while clearing up, Roxy realises her engagement ring is missing. Jase finds out that Jay pawned the ring…
