Kevin, Shirley and Carly visit Deano in prison. They are shocked by his injuries, and realise that he is being bullied. Deano asks for cigarettes and money, and Kevin tries to cheer Deano up by promising him a round the world cruise when he gets out. Carly and Shirley promise to chip in, but later Kevin questions whether Shirley really cares. Kevin is determined to raise the cash, so cuts the prices on the cars to raise some funds. A police officer starts looking at the cars, but Darren manages to put him off. However, he returns later and Kevin sells him the dodgy Jag. Darren is forced to admit that he knew that the car was stolen, much to Kevin’s dismay.

Ronnie and Roxy hold interviews for the new club, but are unimpressed with the applicants. They turn Shirley down, but offer Dawn a job. They also hire a good-looking guy, as eye candy for the ladies. Ronnie is unimpressed when Jase turns up, and Roxy offers him a job. She is forced to go along with the idea as Roxy is adamant that they are equal partners.

Meanwhile in Albert Square, Honey hears a voicemail from a woman asking for Billy, and begins to worry that Billy may be having an affair. She follows him in a taxi, only to find that he is dressed as an elf and selling Christmas trees. Max asks Tanya to get Lauren to transfer the wedding footage to DVD. Ian presents Steven with the video footage of the stall, which showed that Steven did the damage. Steven destroys the tape, but Bradley makes it his aim to catch him out.
