Ian BealeBradley begins his new job as assistant market inspector, and takes the role seriously.  He irritates Stacey when he chases her up and tells her to get on the stall.  Stacey is trying to help Jean, who does not want to return home due to noisy builders.  Later, Bradley and Stacey’s luggage arrives.  Jean cannot resist opening it up, despite Stacey telling her not to on the phone.  She starts watching the wedding video footage on Lauren’s camera, but drops it when the phone rings.  The screen is blank, so she later distracts Bradley to stop him returning it.

An upset Steven receives a crate from New Zealand with his belongings in.  Ian goes to the police station to make a statement about Steven’s stall.  He is surprised to hear that the crime has not been reported.  He asks Bradley for a copy of the CCTV footage.  Ian sits down to watch the tape with Jane, and they are shocked to see that Steven trashed his own stall.

Meanwhile in Albert Square, Monique returns to France, but sets up Lauren and Peter on a date before leaving.  Phil reminds Darren to stay quiet, and tells Kevin that more cars are on their way.  Vince manages to persuade Shirley to go on a date, but as they leave, Kevin delivers some bad news; Deano has been attacked in prison.
