Kevin goes to work to find that the car lot has been trashed.  He suspects that it was kids, until Pat suggests that someone is trying to give him a message.  Kevin confronts Phil, but Ronnie confirms that Phil was asleep in the lounge all night.  Kevin feels guilty for accusing Phil, but as he leaves, Phil phones Minty and tells him to add 50% to the quote for fixing the cars.  Meanwhile, Phil gives Jase money for trashing the car lot.  Phil then orders Jase to do another job.  Kevin finds Jase painting the car lot office, and realises that Phil has ordered him to do it.  Kevin changes his mind about the car deal, and approaches Phil.  However, Phil pretends that it is too late, but that he will try for him.  He later lets Kevin know that some cars will arrive soon…

Steven starts selling clothing on his stall, but Ian and Stacey are unimpressed.  Peter’s French exchange student arrives and pretends to be unable to understand English.  Later, she starts talking fluent English, and takes a shine to Steven.  She is amused by the complicated family history, and her and Peter visit Steven at Pat’s.  Ian finds them there and is furious.  A few minutes later, someone starts trashing Steven’s stall…

Elsewhere in Albert Square, Billy tries to find more work and Heather enters Hazel and Minty into a magazine wedding competition.  Hazel and Minty hold a belated engagement party in The Vic.    Max arranges a job interview for Bradley.  It is insurance sales, but despite trying to be confident during the interview, Bradley realises that it is not for him.
