Ian is restless and gets up at 5:30am. He disturbs Jane who follows him down to the kitchen and realises that Ian is worrying about the stalker. She tells Ian that everything will be okay by the end of the day – they are due to leave for Spain later. However, Ian is clearly still suspicious of Jane and is cold towards her. Later on he panics when he sees her holding a knife and refers to Bobby as ‘my son’; Jane storms out.
Later, Ian returns home to find the door open and hears noises upstairs. He makes his way upstairs, and is relieved to find Chips on their bed. However, he then notices a self-help guide to insomnia; inside a message reads ‘You gave me sleepless nights too, remember? Cindy x’. Ian is convinced that Jane is the only person who could have known about his restlessness and who had access to their room. He shares his suspicions in the café with Pat, who seems somewhat bemused by his worries. Pat urges him not to get carried away and to go on holiday. He returns home to look for the passport, and finds an invoice for the coffin in Jane’s passport. Enraged, he locks Jane out of the house. He later meets her at Arthur’s bench, and accuses her of constantly lying to him. A distraught Jane tells Ian that she never wants to see him again, only to then look at him three seconds later to tell him that she can’t go on holiday with him. At home Ian receives a message from ‘Cindy’ asking him to meet her in twenty minutes…
Denise reads Kevin’s letter, and tells Chelsea and Libby that the three are of them are on their own again. They decide to leave, but Kevin pulls up with Deano as they are leaving. Denise tells the driver that she will double the fare if he knocks Kevin down (surely that’d be worth triple!).
Jay stays for tea at the Vic, and takes the opportunity to get an eyeful of Roxy, and steals her knickers. He later stuffs them in Ben’s pocket without him realising…
Meanwhile, Jase threatens Billy to keep his mouth shut about his stint in prison. Later in the Vic Phil asks an annoyed Jase about his history, resulting in Jase declaring that he was inside; just as Jay appears at the bar.
