RRonnie Mitchellonnie arrives at the club to find a delivery of arcade machines and a pool table being unloaded. Jack announces that they are for the VIP area, but his hands on approach angers Ronnie. Phil interrupts the pair, and starts to grow suspicious of Jack’s presence. Later, Roxy finds the club open at 7pm and rushes to The Vic to find out what is going on. Peggy and Phil make their way to the club, and confront Ronnie, who only just discovered that the club was open herself. Jack announces that he is the joint owner of the club, much to Ronnie’s dismay.

Lucy pesters Ian for a birthday party, and announces to her friends that she has the go ahead. However, Ian has not fully agreed to the idea. Lauren asks Peter if he will go with her, and he agrees. Meanwhile, Steven starts selling tea and coffee with mince pies on his stall in a deliberate attempt to undercut Ian. Steven spills the boiling water on himself, so Lucy invites him into the house. Steven takes Lucy’s keys without her knowing, and later returns when Jane is home alone. He tries to apologise, but Jane tells him how hard life has become. Ian returns and throws Steven out.

Dot continues to struggle without Jim. At the launderette, Steven is rude to her, but Heather is on hand to help. Gary upsets Heather upon his return, by revealing that he has a new girlfriend who is coming to meet him at The Vic. Later, Dot goes to Heather’s and persuades Heather to pray. Heather prays to George Michael, hoping for a chance with Gary. She goes to The Vic and discovers that Gary’s girlfriend has failed to show, and has dumped him. Hazel surprises Minty on his birthday by jumping out of a huge box.
