Ian Beale is one of the most unlikely murderers of all time although over the last few weeks he has been pushed to the limit by Archie, Janine and Phil. It is possible he has literally tipped over the edge and attacked Archie but when you consider how easily Archie pushed him out of the Queen Vic door when he approached him, the odds on Ian Beale begin to fall again.

Ian Beale has been in Eastenders since day one and there have been no rumours or speculation regarding him leaving the show. As a consequence, while it is possible that Ian Beale is the murdered, as he had many reasons to do so, the likelihood is that he does not have the bottle to carry out this gruesome act.
