This week in Eastenders we see some dramatic storylines start to unfold with Dawn set to get herself a new lover who is perhaps the most unlikely person you would ever consider in Albert Square!

There is also a very controversial and potentially inflammatory storyline emerging regarding Christian and Syed who become lovers, something which is directly against his Muslim upbringing. There are rumours circulating regarding how the storyline will pan out but one thing is for sure, this is set to cause significant unrest in the Muslim community and a potential backlash for the BBC.

There are also rumours that Archie will be returning to Eastenders for one final throw of the dice when he confronts Peggy in the Queen Vic. The outcome of this meeting is shrouded in mystery although Barbara Windsor seemed to let the cat out of the bag when she suggested that her co-star will be leaving the show in the short term. Will Peggy ever be happy and lucky in love?

Elsewhere Minty and Heather finally cut their ties and go to court to finalise their divorce which is not without tears and sadness for both parties.
