Bradley Branning (played by Charlie Clements) made his first appearance in Eastenders on 24 January 2006 and has gone on to become one of the most popular characters in the show. He has had many ups and downs in his life with his father, Max Branning, having an affair with his then wife Stacey which ultimately left him and his father separated for some time.

However, Bradley has now become very close to his grandmother, Dorothy Cotton, and is also playing a bigger role in the life of his grandfather Jim Branning. Thankfully Bradley has finally found happiness in his life with his new girlfriend Syd although this particular plot seems to have much more to come.

There have been many comical and serious moments in the life of Bradley Branning and the excellent acting of Charlie Clements has seen him pushed further and further into the limelight. Always the fall guy, he always picks himself up, dusts himself off and looks to start again. Hopefully over the next few weeks, months and years we will see Bradley finally find happiness or is he just one of those characters who were never find true happiness?
