It was recently reported that Bianca and Ricky would be returning, with Janine and Diane also back for Frank’s funeral. Eastender’s executive producer, Diederick Santer, has revealed that he would like to see the return of Simon Wicks (played by Nick Berry). In an interview with Inside Soap, he commented; “I loved Nick Berry playing him – Simon was a likeable but complex character. Maybe I should ask him to come back…” Well, if that isn’t a hint I don’t know what is!

Lacey Turner has revealed that filming her character’s wedding was far from perfect. Last week, Stacey married Bradley, but Turner has revealed that she had to wear the wedding dress for fifteen days for filming. She found it uncomfortable, and she has since told ‘Sunday’: “If I had to get married, I think I’d wear Ugg boots and pyjamas.” Well, that would certainly be a sight!

The BBC has received several complaints about last night’s episode. Viewers were unhappy with the level of violence in a pre-watershed slot. The BBC has apologised, but insists that it met editorial guidelines. Meanwhile, former scriptwriter Tony Jordan is returning to the soap, after quitting 12 months ago.
