Eastenders logoEastenders stars have reportedly threatened not to attend this year’s Christmas party, as they have been told that they must pay their partners to attend. The cast and crew have been sent letters saying that £30 would be payable for any guests that want to go to the party. Some stars have complained to executives, but a spokesperson has reported that the BBC is unprepared to use licence payers money to pay for partners.

It has been announced that John Partridge is to play the role of Jane Beale’s brother, Christian. Partridge previously appeared in ‘Game On’, and will arrive in Albert Sqaure in the New Year. Christian will invite Jane to his civil partnership, but Jane is undecided as to whether to attend. Ian learns of the invitation, and invites Christian and his partner round for dinner. It seems that his arrival in the square may cause a few upsets…

Elsewhere, Samantha Janus (Ronnie Mitchell) has accepted ‘substantial’ damages from the Sunday Sport, after they claimed that she took part in a three-hour drug fuelled lesbian orgy. They have now admitted that the allegations are false, and as a result are paying legal costs and compensation to Janus.
