One of the intriguing questions in Eastenders over the next few months will be whether Max Branning can take the pressure of shielding his daughter-in-law from being revealed as the real killer of Archie Mitchell. There is no doubt that Max believes he owes Stacey and Bradley something for what she has done to them in the past but whether he can see his son constantly blamed for the death of Archie Mitchell remains to be seen.

Life without Bradley Branning is not something which Max Branning can face at the moment with Bradley’s father struggling to come to terms with his son’s death. Max has been drinking excessively, has Stacey’s friend Becca chasing him and is in place which is dark and very disturbing for him. He’s lashing out at strangers in the street, not sleeping and ultimately Max Branning is on the verge of a nervous breakdown.

In an excellent episode of Eastenders viewers were kept guessing right until the very end about the identity of Archie killer. Bradley decided to go on the run, Janine was all set to follow and Phil and Peggy also seemed to be in the frame. Then we saw Ian Beale nervous and giving the impression that he may actually have killed Archie.

After a dramatic roof top dash we saw Bradley fall to the ground - and his death? - at which point Stacey admitted to Max that she was the killer, she finished Archie off! How will the storyline pan out now? Will Max grass on Stacey? Is Bradley dead? All will be revealed.

After being set up by a mystery person Janine was finally released from police custody and headed back to Walford to see who was behind the plot to put her behind bars. She has blamed everybody from Jack Branning to Ronnie, from Phil Mitchell to Ryan flatmate and many more in between!

In a bizarre move it has been revealed that the odds on quiet Eastenders barmaid Tracey killing Archie Mitchell have been slashed from 200/1 to 5/1. It seems as though a number of punters have come forward to place money on the mystery figure of Tracey, an actor who has been on the show for many years but very rarely taken any strong storylines. So can this be true?
