While the devastating fight between the Masood family and Yusef Khan has ended, the situation is far from over for Tamwar who suffered extreme burns in the fire and was lucky to survive. Not only is there potentially months of plastic surgery to try and correct the scars of the fire but the mental pressure and emotional strain is already beginning to show in his marriage to Afia. The question of who wins custody of Roxy and Jack’s daughter Amy has faded into the background over the last few weeks but there is no doubt, with the court case looming, that the question will be on the lips of many people very soon.

While there is no doubt that there were initial problems when Roxy left Amy with Ben and Jay it is unclear exactly why her baby was taken into custody and handed over to Jack. However, what it does do is open up one of the most bitter and fiercely fought custody battles we have seen on Albert Square.
